Wall paper monitor will format the image to fit your screen with a minimum of distortion. Just set your desktop 'position' to center and let Wall Paper Monitor do the rest.

You can also save lists of images, in effect, a slide show in simple text files to be called up at any time.

Wall Paper Monitor also has a setting for the default wall paper which can you set to at any time without losing your place in the current running image list.
